I met the darling Peter Pearlson in 1988 when Rush Hour recorded the album The Perfect Way. Peter was the sound engineer for that album. We stayed in touch over the years and I always knew that I wanted to work with him again. We have come full circle now with my current album The Sound Of You (SOY), which he and I produced together and of course as always brilliant sound. I reckon Peter is one of the finest sound engineers in the world and a wonderfully deep and generous human being too!

I have worked with Peter Pearlson on too many recording projects too count or mention including Dan Patlansky, Anton Goosen, the Electric Petals, Waldorf string band and my own album The Rooibos Tea Blues, and I can only say that each time it has been a pleasure and an honor. Peter has a way in studio of putting everyone at ease and that makes the time spent so enjoyable and also more productive. Also he has a serious set of skills and an amazing pair of ears. He deserves every accolade he gets because this guy works like a Trojan although he is the gentlest of giants. Can't wait for the next time!
